This casket hunting cap is based on the British hunting caps of the 1930s.

It is commonly known as a "casket hunting cap" because the 8-panel casket is folded down on the front side and sewn with a short brim to give it a hunting-like silhouette.

The fabric is made of "BRITISH MILLERAIN" oiled cotton, which originated in England and has a history of nearly 150 years.
The oiled cotton cloth of MILLERAIN is a popular and trusted historical fabric that is still used for clothing, and has a water repellent function equivalent to what is now called "water proof".

The brim is made of tanned oiled steere leather, and the design is consistent with the oiled look of the main body.
